#1 – What is perfection?

I would define perfection as an ultimate state of good.
To me perfection is something you create for yourself; what's perfect to you is part how you view things.
I see perfection as subjective; no two people can have the same view of it, so I don’t feel you can put perfection down to situations or objects...but you may think differently?

How would you define perfection? What’s perfect to you?

  1. Perfection imo is something (not someone) that makes you happy, or something you see without flaws. I think it varies between each person, no two people will have the exact same view on something to label it 'perfect'. To me, perfection is something that constantly keeps me happy and positive.

  2. I would define perfection as something complete without defect and whether this is possible even in one person's perspective is diffident.

  3. I see perfection has something you cannot fault. It does not neccessairly have to be the best but in your eyes it is perfect, you would not change one thing about it. I think that perfection is different for any two individuals.

In a way there is no such thing as perfection; for example one can never be perfect, there is no such thing. But the idea of perfection and being perfect encourages us to be our best self and to want more than what we have.We can find strengths, weaknesses and areas that needs to be improved on with nearly everything we do and what surrounds us. So aiming for the unattainable perfection allows for constant progress.

    1. Perfection is a state of complete satisfaction that requires no improvement and everybody's idea of it is different. It is rarely achieved and when it is it's something to be admired.

  4. Many people's idea of perfection is something completely flawless. I'm not going to act like when you look at smaller scales, things do seem perfect but I believe it's a matter of preference because what might be perfect to you might not satisfy another person. My idea of perfection is looking at certain situation and feel appreciative of it because it's something more than enough and allows you to work around it as oxymoron as it sounds, because I can accept that perfection doesn't exist as we know it but how I see it personally. Secondly, for example, looking at a bigger scale, if we're going to look at life itself I don't think anyone can describe as perfect because it's something too complex.

  5. I would say that perfection is something that has nothing wrong with it,you are unable to fault it. I don't have anything that I can say is perfect but if I was to come across something that made me happy and had no faults then I would define it as perfect.

  6. I think it is impossible to have perfection as the amount of contrasting views that we have in the world means that what is perfect for one could be the complete opposite for another. For me perfection would be where we are all able to accept each others views and not discriminate against them but use them to better ourselves.

  7. Perfection is a feeling, which is rare and not experienced daily. It's when you feel so content with a situation, that nothing could possibly make it any better. How regularly you experience perfection depends on the person. I think a person that is easily pleased and generally optimistic will experience perfection more than someone with an opposite personality

  8. Perfection is something that cannot be improved upon, that's why we should always strive to achieve perfection, it's the efforts in doing so that motivates people to keep pushing beyond there boundries.

  9. perfection is something that nobody can get because if you ask for perfection there is always something else that your mind could imagine

  10. Everybodys definition of perfect would be differnt as everyones needs are different. Perfection for someone could differ from wanting 'someone' (a lover/family member) or wanting 'something' (money/ materialised things).

  11. Perfection is the point of complete satisfaction and the absence of all infirmity, a time where something or someone is purely a strength and has no weakeness.

  12. Many people would define perfection as something or a situation that could not get any better i.e. could not improve because there is nothing wrong with it. However I think that perfection is hard to achieve because once someone has achieved perfection there will always be another level of perfection that they can achieve. So for me perfection would be when you can accept the good and the bad and be happy with it.

  13. Perfection is a state of being, rather than doing
Living as authentic beings, co-operating with one another rather than competing against each other

    Unconditional love is perfect
